This chapter explains the notes you should always follow while you use the BBU, the
features of the BBU, and the hardware setup.
1. Features of this BBU
This BBU is used exclusively for NE3303-173 RAID Controller (hereafter RAID controller).
The BBU avoid the risk of losing the cached data in case of an AC power failure or a power
outrage by connecting the BBU to RAID controller in the WriteBack mode.
