Removing the 4-cell battery
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in

SD
card.
3. Remove the
base
cover.

Steps
1. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board, if applicable.
2. Remove the four (M2x3) screws that secure the battery to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Remove the battery from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
NOTE:
When replacing the 4-cell battery, use a scribe push upward through the bottom-left screw hole to remove the
battery rubber stopper and transfer it to the new replacement 4-cell battery.
