Using Your Popcorn Popper
1. Place your Popcorn Popper on a flat, level surface, such as a table or
countertop. Be sure the unit is unplugged.
2. Remove the Cover from the Popcorn Popper. Refer to the chart below
for recommended oil and kernel measurements.
VEGETABLE OIL
KERNELS
2 tbsp. (30 ml)
1/3 cup (85 ml)
3 tbsp. (45 ml)
2/3 cup (170 ml) Approx 25 Cups/ 6 quarts/litres
IMPORTANT: Do not add more corn kernels or oil than what is
recommended. Do not substitute butter, margarine, shortening or lard for
vegetable oil as they will burn or smoke excessively. KERNELS WILL NOT
POP WITHOUT OIL ON POPPING SURFACE.
3. Pour the measured oil onto the Popping Surface. Add the
corresponding measure of kernels by evenly spreading over the
Popping Surface.
IMPORTANT: This popcorn popper is designed to be used with regular
or premium kernels. Never
use microwave popcorn in this
popcorn popper.
4. Place the Cover on the
Base making sure the
handles of the Cover fit into
the handles of the Base.
Remove the Bowl Cap from
the Cover. Refer to fig.1.
5. If buttered popcorn is
desired, divide 1 1/2
Tablespoons of butter into
POPCORN
Approx. 12 Cups/ 3 quarts/litres
