MAINTENANCE

Your D
WALT power tool has been designed to operate
e
over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool
care and regular cleaning.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn tool off and disconnect battery pack
before making any adjustments or removing/
installing attachments or accessories. An accidental
start-up can cause injury.
The charger and Infrared Thermometer are not serviceable.
There are no serviceable parts inside the charger or
Infrared Thermometer.

Troubleshooting

The IR Thermometer Does Not Turn On
Make sure the 12 V battery is charged.
While the IR Thermometer may be stored in temperatures
up to 85 ˚C (185 ˚F), the IR Thermometer has a built-
in protection circuit that will not allow it to operate
at temperatures in excess of 40 ˚C (104 ˚F). If the
IR Thermometer has been stored in extremely hot
temperatures, allow it to cool. The IR thermometer will not
be damaged by pressing the ON/OFF button before cooling
to its proper operating temperature.
Lubrication
Your power tool requires no additional lubrication.
