    K6/K6N Vacuum Packaging Machine Introduction 1 Introduction General information § This product manual must be read, understood and complied with fully by the operators who are responsible for the vacuum packaging machine. § All the technical documentation must be kept beside the vacuum packaging machine (called the machine below) at all times.

    K6/K6N Vacuum Packaging Machine Introduction Definitions The following terms are used in this Operating Manual to describe the people who work with or on the machine: Owner The owner is the firm which has entered into a contract with the manufacturer or its agent. The owner is legally entitled to sign contracts.

    Machine without an inert gas system (K6 type) The K6 machine is used for the products described above. It is not suitable for products which are sensitive to pressure as they would be damaged by the vacuum and the tightly applied packaging plastic.

    K6/K6N Vacuum Packaging Machine Safety, warranty Refer to the sub-section on “Inert gas” in the next section, “Processing materials”, for further important information on the types of inert gas which may be used. 2.1.2 Processing materials 2.1.2.1 Vacuum bags The vacuum bags must be suitable and passed for welding under pressure and heat. They must also conform to hygiene regulations in terms of the handling and packaging of foodstuffs.

Select the packaging program which you require before closing the lid! § After inserting the vacuum bags, use the arrow button on the right to select a packaging program between P-01 and P-20.

    K5/K5N Vacuum Packaging Machine Operation Programming 9.5.1 Packaging programs 20 programs can be created in the controller. These programs are all identical in structure and are shown in the basic setting with their program number in LED display 2. We would advise you to take note of the programs on paper first of all and then to enter them. This will enable you to have better control of everything and will ensure that programs do not go missing, even if a fault occurs or if the controller is incorrectly operated.
