Please pay attention to the following notes to avoid injury

A damaged machine is a safety risk. In the event of damage, dis-
connect the machine from the mains electricity supply immediately
and contact Miele Service.
The facility must not be operated if any safety devices have been
removed.
During cleaning and maintenance work the facility must be discon-
nected from the electricity and prevented from inadvertent switching
on.
Maintenance and repairs must not be carried out while the facility
is in operation.
Maintenance and inspection points must be kept clear of any ob-
structions.
Ensure the working area of the operator is sufficiently illuminated.
 Removing the load
The mobile units, loads and any liquids or steam can reach temper-
atures up to 135 °C, creating a risk of burning or scalding if they
come into contact with bare hands.
Suitable gloves and long-sleeved clothing must be worn when
loading and unloading to prevent the risk of burning and scalding.
 Transporting hot loads
The temperature of the load carriers may still be as much as 55 °C
when the transfer trolley is being transported or has stopped.
Touching them with bare hands presents a risk of injury.
Special care must be taken when transporting hot load carriers.
Suitable protective clothing must be worn during transport.
For your own safety, wear gloves and, if necessary, a surgical
mask and protective goggles when sorting the instruments and un-
loading the machine. To avoid recontamination, wear clean gloves
when unloading the machine.
Only use the conveyor system if it is functioning correctly. Other-
wise you could endanger yourself and others.
The loading accessories for the variable transfer trolley may only
be used when in a fault-free condition.
It is the duty of the supervisor to inform machine operatives of the
dangers of incorrectly loading and unloading the large steam steril-
iser.
Riding, stepping on or climbing over the conveyor system while it
is in use is prohibited.
