The safety switch on the LawnMaster CLMF4841E mower is part of the starting mechanism. To start the mower, the safety switch button must be pressed while gently pulling the start/stop switch lever toward the upper handle. Once the mower starts, the safety switch button can be released. This ensures the mower only starts when both actions are performed together, helping prevent accidental starts.
