    Step 1 Connecting your digital set-top box Your Amino Kamai 7B digital set-top box must be connected to a TV for you to use it. It can also be connected to an audio/video amplifier or a home theatre system. WARNING! Before connecting or disconnecting a cable, turn off all system components (TV, audio/video amplifier, etc.)

    To be able to control your Amino Kamai 7B digital set-top box, you must first pair it with your Maxi Linux remote control. NOTE Your remote control can only be paired with one digital set-top box at a time. If pairing instructions appear on your TV, follow them. If not, follow the instructions in this guide.     Step 4 Connecting your digital set-top box to the CŌV TV network Before you can use your digital set-top box, you must connect it to the CŌV TV network by activating it. NOTE To be able to connect your digital set-top box to the CŌV TV network, your digital set-top box must be in normal operating mode and it must have been paired with your remote control.

    Step 5 Pairing your remote control with your TV (optional) Your remote control can also be programmed to control certain functions on your TV. Once your remote control is paired with your TV, you can use buttons on your remote control to control your TV.

    Using CŌV TV Home screen The Home screen enables you to browse the list of categories that provide access to a variety of content and features. To access the Home screen, press the button on your remote control to open the CŌV TV menu, then select Home.     Navigating the schedule To move forward or backward in time, use the arrows on your remote control. When viewing the TV guide for a future date or time, press the button on your remote control to return to the current date and time. Use the button to move forward 12 hours.     TV guide Personalized TV guide You can display the TV guide for all channels (by selecting All) or only for certain channels, such as the channels on one of your lists of favourite channels. NOTE To learn how to create lists of favourite channels, see Favourite channels on page 63. To switch between channel lists, press the button on the remote control until the desired list of channels appears underneath the thumbnail showing the current program. The channel list displayed in the TV guide will update.

    Deleting a recording You can delete a recording that you do not want to keep, such as after it has been watched. To delete a recording: In the menu, use the arrows on your remote control to select Recordings, then press the arrow to access the Recordings screen.     Using CŌV TV Reminders and channel autotunes The reminder and channel autotune features make it possible to never miss a show or movie that you want to see, even if you are watching something else. If you schedule a reminder for a show or movie, you will receive a notification when the show or movie is about to start. If you schedule a channel autotune for a show or movie, your CŌV TV will autotune the channel that is playing the show or movie once it starts.
