The Costway SuperFit SP37522 treadmill may be dragging and struggling to run due to several possible reasons: 1. Lack of Stability: The manual advises checking the treadmill’s stability before use. An unstable surface may affect performance. 2. Incorrect Mode: If the riser is folded, the treadmill operates in walking mode (0.6-2.5 mph). If higher speeds are expected, ensure the riser is expanded for running mode (0.6-7.5 mph). 3. Improper Start Procedure: Users should not start the treadmill while standing on the running belt. Instead, they should stand on the side strip and use the handlebar for support when starting. 4. Motor Speed Settings: The treadmill starts at 0.6 mph with a gradual increase when speed is adjusted. If it struggles, check if the speed settings are appropriate. 5. Potential Mechanical Issue: If the treadmill continues to struggle, there may be an issue with the motor, belt tension, or lubrication. Checking these components may help improve performance.
If the issue persists, contacting customer service for assistance is recommended.

The manual does not provide specific instructions for adjusting the handlebar position on the Costway SuperFit SP37522 treadmill. However, it mentions a folding handle and risers that expand and lock into place. If adjustment is possible, try unlocking the folding handle, repositioning the risers, and locking them again. If further adjustment is needed, check the spare parts package or contact customer service.

Can the walking pad be used without the remote? There doesn't appear to be ANY controls in the display area. And the remote I was given doesn't work with this device. I bought this "brand new in box" in an auction a few months ago and it powers on, and complains when I pull the safety tab. But I cannot get the belt to move at all. I looked through this manual and there aren't instructions for use without the remote.
Please help, asap. I'm having knee surgery March 3rd and I'd like to attempt to build up a little strength before then.
