A micro DOUBLE SIX SWITCH directly connects to two micro Band Decoders and W5XD MK-
1100 SO2R multi keyer forming a completely automatic SO2R station.
Using the supplied configuration software, choose the appropriate antenna port for each
band. Use one antenna port for more than one band (multi band antennas), or multiple
ports for a single band (frequency split), as necessary. Both decoders must be configured
in the same way.
If the micro SIX SWITCH is going to be placed outside, the optional RELAY BOARD must be
installed. In this case, the jumper on the RELAY BOARD must be set to "+".
The PCLPT1 cables are needed only for transceivers not supported by micro Band Decoder.
Connect the transceiver using only one communication cable, depending on the interface
(CI-V, IF-232, FIF-232 or RS-232).
Check out our Application Notes for connecting your transceivers.
Connect the keying and audio lines between MK-1100 and transceivers according to
recommendations on Wayne's W5XD webpages www.writelog.com.
If you are using a transceiver that requiries RTS and CTS signals (TS450, 850, 950 with
DSP100), always connect it to the micro Band Decoder which is connected directly to PC
rather than to MK-1100.
