Your Bissell Little Green 1425 may not be sucking up water due to the following reasons and their possible solutions:
1. Poor upholstery/carpet tool position – Reposition the tool on the surface and follow the recommended cleaning procedures. 2. Dirty/collection tank is full – Empty the dirty/collection tank. 3. Upholstery/carpet tool brush is worn – Replace it with a new brush. 4. Excess solution in the vacuum flex hose – Lift the tool and point it upwards to allow water in the hose to flow into the dirty/collection tank. 5. Incorrect cleaning formula – Use only BISSELL 2X Little Green formula.
Following these steps should help restore suction.
