Spectrum Analyzer Frequency Accuracy

This test verifies the CW frequency accuracy of the Spectrum Analyzer in Spectrum Master Models MS2723B
and MS2724B.
Required Equipment:
• Anritsu MG3692x Synthesized Signal Generator
• Frequency Reference Symmetricom Rubisource T&M
• Adapter, Anritsu Model 34NN50A
• Spectrum Master: MS2723B or MS2724B

Procedure:
1. Connect the external 10 MHz Reference to the Anritsu MG3692x Synthesized Signal Generator, as
shown in Figure
Do Not Connect the external 10 MHz Reference to the Spectrum Master Models MS2723B or
Note
MS2724B.
2. Connect the output of the synthesized Signal Generator to the Spectrum Analyzer RF In of the MS2723B
or MS2724B.
