    Section 1: Getting Started Understanding this User Manual The chapters of this manual generally follow the features of your phone. A robust index for quick reference to most features begins on page 155. Also included is important safety information that you should know before using your phone.

    A fully discharged battery requires up to 4 hours of charge time. Warning!: Use only Samsung-approved charging devices and batteries. Samsung accessories are designed to maximize battery life. Using other accessories may invalidate your warranty and may cause damage.

Removing the cover To unlock the cover, insert the Battery Cover Removal Tool, or a coin, into the lock and turn it counter-clockwise. *Included Lift the cover up and away from the phone.     Flash/Flashlight: Provides light for Camera/Camcorder, or use as a flashlight. Camera Lens: Use to take photos and record video. Rewind Key: During music playback, press and hold to rewind music.     When Driving Mode is enabled, your phone uses sounds to alert you to notifications, regardless of other phone or call settings.
