Does this boombox automatically shut itself off if left on pause for a time? I’m a teacher, like to set a CD to play a certain track and then pause it until the time to listen is right. The unit I have now shuts off, very frustrating!

If AM reception is weak, change the position of the unit until the internal antenna picks up the strongest signal. FM - If FM reception is weak, fully extend the FM ANTENNA (#26) and vary the position and location of the antenna until you find the strongest signal.
