Clavinet D6 Disassembly Guide Clavinet D6 Disassembly Guide Step One Start By removing the two thumbscrews located on the lower front panel. Remove the front panel by pulling down on its top ledge, it is partially seated in a notch on the left wood panel and it sits below the right wood panel.

Clavinet D6 Disassembly Guide Clavinet D6 Disassembly Guide Page Two Step Two On the right wood panel, remove the thumbscrew located in the upper right hand corner. Pull up the enlongated piece of metal and pull the wood panel straight out towards you.

Clavinet D6 Disassembly Guide Clavinet D6 Disassembly Guide Page Three Step Three Remove the thumbscrew located are the top of the left wood panel containing the binary switches and volume control. Since the left wood panel is electrically attached to the keyboard, simply set it behind the wood block standing up.

Clavinet D6 Disassembly Guide Clavinet D6 Disassembly Guide Page Four Locate the two screws on the right side of the keyboard assembly and remove. In the center of the keyboard at the top, is a small brace located beneath the keys. Remove the screw in the center (its removed in the photo).
