FLOPPY DRIVE ACCESS INDICATOR The Floppy Drive Access indicator states whether the internal floppy disk drive is being accessed. This indi- cator will flash if your software tries to access a disk even if no floppy disk drive is installed.

CONNECTING THE AC ADAPTER The AC adapter provides power for operating your LifeBook notebook and is used to charge the batteries.

    This information is in the BIOS program. Each time you power up or restart your notebook, it goes through a boot sequence which displays a Fujitsu logo until your operating system is loaded. During booting, your note- book is performing a standard boot sequence including a Power On Self Test (POST).

    When you turn on your LifeBook notebook for the first time, it will display a Fujitsu logo on the screen. If you do nothing, the system will load the operating system, and then the Windows Welcome will begin.
