  • Page 13 Putting the phone into operation Put your nail into the slot under the back phone cover and remove the cover. Insert the SIM card or a memory card, if purchased. Insert the battery. Metal contacts of the battery must be directed against the contacts in the phone.

    The battery charge status is indicated on the phone display. Phone ON/OFF To turn the phone on, hold the red button (12) until the phone turns on. (You may be asked to enter PIN code, if PIN code protection is activated.) At first turning on, you will be asked to select a language.
