The family includes the Record, CS Pro Rocket Black Edition, Linecounter, C4 and D. HOW TO FILL THE SPOOL WITH LINE All ambassadeur round reels are designed for monofilament, braid and fluorocarbon lines.
- Page 4 If a spring scale is unavailable, tie the line to a secure point. With the rod tip up (about a 45 degree vertical angle), apply pressure by turning the handle. Gradually tighten the drag star. When the line reaches its breaking point, loosen the adjustment star ¼ turn. When not in use, be sure to rotate the drag start to reduce drag pressure.

I have a classic Ambassadeur ABU 5000 reel. The line guide only moves from the right (I **** right-handed) to the left and back to the right when I give it a push and turn the handle but doesn't move to left again unless I give it another push so that it will engage with the grooves in the bar. I know this is an old reel, but can it be fixed?
