To adjust the belt on an Ariens Zenith 60 mower:

1. Ensure the mower drive belt is installed before the PTO belt.
2. Install the PTO belt around the clutch sheave at the rear of the unit.
3. Place the PTO belt around the top groove of the split pulley at the deck center and around the left spindle pulley.
4. Align the belt with the idler pulleys.
5. Reinstall the idler spring hook around the anchor bolt to apply tension to the belt.

Use caution when releasing or applying tension to avoid injury.
