Enter text on the keypad
When entering text on the keypad, you can change
the text input mode:
• Press and hold [ ] to switch between T9 and
ABC modes. Depending on your country, you
may be able to access an input mode for your
specific language.
• Press [ ] to change case or switch to Number
mode.
• Press [ ] to switch to Symbol mode.
• Press [ ] twice to open the emoticon list.
• Press and hold [ ] and select an input mode or
change the input language.
Enter text on the QWERTY keyboard
When entering text on the QWERTY keyboard, you
can use the following functions:
• Press [
] to change case.
• Press [Sym] to switch to Symbol mode.
• Press [Alt] to enter characters on the upper half of
the keys.
• Press [Alt] → [
] to open the emoticon list.
Enter text in one of the following modes:

Press the appropriate alphanumeric key
ABC
until the character you want appears on
the display.
