    If you see softball pitch types (Screwball, Drop Ball) make sure you are in the green PitchTracker Baseball App and not the yellow PitchTracker Softball App. If you are a Youth Account (13U or below) Diamond Kinetics does not ask for height and weight information. This will not affect your metrics.

The dot with the curved lines indicates if your Smart Ball is connected or not. It will show green when a Smart Ball is connect and grey when there is no Smart Ball is connected.

    When the ball is connected to the PitchTracker app, all of the pitches will transfer to the app and the data will be stored on the Diamond Kinetics server where it can later be pulled down and viewed. When the ball is not connected to the PitchTracker app, any pitches that are thrown will be saved on the ball’s internal memory.

Speed is measured in MPH (miles per hour). On-field Impact: Higher velocity means the ball gets to the batter faster and requires quicker reaction by the batter. It will also help fielders get the ball to their target faster.
