@Janice McFeeley The Classic meter does not come with the ability to transfer data to a computer so if you don't want to download information onto your computer, it's fine!

Yes, you need a control solution to test the ReliOn Premier Classic meter. The control solution is used to check that the meter and test strips are working correctly by verifying that the result falls within the expected range printed on the test strip vial.

To interpret the memory readings on the ReliOn™ Premier Classic:

1. Turn on the meter by pressing the button. The screen will show the current date and time.
2. View the 1-day average: The display will show the average glucose result for the current day and the number of tests taken that day.
3. Check averages over longer periods: Press the button to cycle through average glucose values for the last 7, 14, 30, and 90 days. The number of tests performed during each period will also be displayed.

The meter automatically calculates averages for:
- All test results
- Pre-meal test results (Pr)
- Post-meal test results ( )

If the memory is full, the oldest test result is deleted when a new one is saved.
