Using the Operator The operator key gives you direct access to the operator services. With the home screen displayed, press the operator key to access your service provider. The features available may vary depending on your service provider. Note: Operator key can be activated only when in home screen.
Note: The handsfree speaker is disabled when you connect your phone to a handsfree car kit or headset accessory. Changing a Code, PIN, or Password Your phone’s 4-digit unlock code is originally set to 1234, and the 6-digit security code is originally set to 000000. Your service provider may reset these codes before you receive your phone.

To use a locked phone, you must enter the unlock code. A locked phone still rings or vibrates for incoming calls or messages, but you must unlock it to answer. You can make emergency calls on your phone even when it is locked (see page 60).

Viewing Recent Calls Your phone keeps lists of the calls you recently received and dialed, even if the calls did not connect. The lists are sorted from newest to oldest entries. The oldest entries are deleted as new entries are added. Shortcut: Press s from the home screen to view the dialed calls list.
