Chapter 2 Preparations

Mount the support bracket for TPM kit.
Align the positioning key with the groove, and secure it with two screws. (Two types of screws are
provided. Use the flat head screw for TPM Kit side, and the pan head screw for center side of
chassis.)
5.
Install the components you removed in earlier steps.
6.
Install the CPU blade having been removed to the Blade Enclosure according to the User's Guide of
the Blade Enclosure.
7.
Turn on the power of the CPU blade. Make sure that no error message appears in POST.
If any error messages are displayed, refer to Chapter 3 (1. Error Message of POST and Virtual LCD)
in "Maintenance Guide".

1.9.2 Removal

To remove the TPM kit, remove the top cover according to Chapter 2 (1.3.1 Removal of top cover), and then
perform steps 2 and 3 of Chapter 2 (1.9.1 Installation) in reverse order.
