PROFIBUS Network via IE/PB Link [A2]

If you connect the PDM MS via an IE/PB Link to an external system—without an
S7 CPU with a PROFIBUS DP network—the network components must be
configured manually.
1. Right-click the PROFINET network and select "Insert new object > Object" from
the context menu.
The "Insert Object" window opens.
2. In the "Insert Object" window, click "Assign Device Type..." and select the
corresponding IE/PB Link type, e.g. "Devices > S7 DSGW > Network
Components > Siemens AG > IE/PB Link V3.0".
