ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CUTTING-OFF OPERATIONS Additional Safety Warnings Specific for Abrasive Cutting-Off Operations: a) Do not “jam” the cut-off wheel or apply excessive pressure. Do not attempt to make an excessive depth of cut. Overstressing the wheel increases the loading and susceptibility to twisting or binding of the wheel in the cut and the possibility of kickback or wheel breakage. - Page 10 with all the safety requirements, potential risks of injury and damage remain. 2. Do not force the disc to work faster, reducing the Disc’s moving speed means longer working time. Always work with a 15-30 angle between disc and workpiece. Larger angles will cut ridges into the workpiece and affect the surface finish.
