7.2. Hitch height adjustment

The MechFiber270 and 320 hitches have been designed to allow for various hitch height options with
the same components used. Hitch height is normally selected for the application and set at the factory.
However, if required, the hitch can be adjusted on-farm to level the machine. Some options are shown
below in Figures 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3.

Figure 6.3: Clevis hitch (typically for the U.S. market)
Notes:
1. Care must be taken when adjusting the hitch height so that there is adequate PTO
clearance and enough ground clearance below the stand.
2. Optional towing eye bush can be used on standard hitch — see section 11.10.
