10.2.4. High resolution mode

The high resolution mode of SS-HQ1 is able to realize by using a general lens and general optical LPF. We
use the optical LPF of Kyocera Kinseki, Ltd. in our evaluation board. Please refer to the chapter "3.10 Optical
Filters" about the details of optical LPF.
In addition, it can check more effectively by the following setup.
• 760H system
• Without external Y-LPF
• DACMODE(CAT1_Byte3_bit2)=1[h] (YC separate)
High resolution processing
In SS-HQ1, as shown in the following figure, the newly generated high frequency horizontal aperture signal is
added to a luminosity signal processing system.
