The red light in the middle of the Sky Q box indicates that the box is in standby mode. To turn it off, press the standby button on the Sky Q remote, then switch off or unplug the box at the mains. Ensure all cables are securely connected, then plug the box back in and switch it on. Wait for the on-screen instructions to disappear, then press the Home button on the remote. Some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.

The blue light on the Sky Q box should illuminate when a programme is paused and remain on while watching until the channel is changed or fast-forwarded. If the blue Q is flashing on and off, it may indicate a signal or connection issue.

To find programs for the next day on Sky Q, use the TV Guide. Press the select button while watching live TV to see details of the current show, then press right to see what’s on later. Alternatively, navigate through the full TV Guide to find scheduled programs. Voice search may not always find future scheduled programs, so manually browsing the guide is recommended.
