specifi ed in the periodic maintenance
and lubrication chart. Have a Yamaha
dealer clean or replace the air fi lter el-

The carburetor is an important part of
the engine and its emission control
system, which requires very sophis-
ticated adjustment. Therefore, car-
buretor adjustments should be left to
Yamaha dealer, who has the neces-
sary professional knowledge and ex-
perience.

Check the engine idling speed and,
if necessary, have it corrected by a
Yamaha dealer.
Engine idling speed:
1800 - 1900 r/min
