15. Changing basic settings

The set values guarantee that the ACS 511 will
function perfectly. These parameters may only be
changed by an A/C service unit engineer and after
approval from the manufacturer.

Follow the additional ACS 511 menu prompting.

P1 System pressure empty.
Absolute pressure value above which re-
covery begins.
P2 Pressure at end of recovery.
Absolute pressure value above which re-
covery ends.
P3 Vacuum test pressure.
Absolute pressure value after which the
vacuum test turns out to be negative.
T1 Vacuum pump oil change threshold.
Number of hours before a prompt to
change the vacuum pump oil appears on
the display.
T2 Time for automatic emptying.
Value in seconds for duration of automat-
ic emptying.
T3 Maximum time for recovery.
If this time is exceeded, the function is
aborted and the message "LONG EXTRAC-
TION TIME" appears on the display.
T4 Weight variation monitoring threshold
Time in seconds in which the weight (re-
covered quantity) must change during re-
covery, otherwise the operation is abort-
ed.
T5 Oil outlet time. Time in minutes for the oil
drainage duration.
T7 Specified time for vacuum. The mean time
recommended by car manufacturers is 20
minutes.
T8 Not used.
T9 Vacuum test duration.
Time for checking any pressure increase
after the vacuum function has been exe-
cuted.
T10 Recycling plus vacuum time.
Time in minutes for the duration of the re-
cycling plus vacuum function.
T13 Maximum time for the filling process.
If this time is exceeded, the function is
aborted and the message "FILLING IN-
COMPLETE" appears on the display.
T14 EV9 UV contrast medium open duration.
Time in seconds for which the solenoid
valve EV9 is open. Corresponds to the
time for which UV contrast medium is
added.
T15 Maximum time for the oil filling process.
If this time is exceeded, the function is
aborted and the message "HIGH OIL FILL -
ING TIME" appears on the display.
T16 Maximum time for the flushing process.
If this time is exceeded, the function is
ended and the process continues.
