To send a contact

From your Home screen, tap

Tap the contact whose details you want to send.

To send several contacts at once

Touch and hold a contact then mark or unmark the checkboxes beside the
contacts that you want to share.

Avoiding duplicate entries in the Contacts application

If you synchronise your contacts with a new account or import contact information in
other ways, you could end up with duplicate entries in the Contacts application. If this
happens, you can link such duplicates to create a single entry. If you link entries by
mistake, you can unlink them again later.
To link contacts

From your Home screen, tap

Tap the contact that you want to link with another contact, then tap

Tap , then tap Link.

Tap the contact whose information you want to join with the first contact. The
information from the first contact is merged with the second contact, and the
linked contacts are displayed as one contact in the Contacts list.

Tap SAVE.
To separate linked contacts

From your Home screen, tap

Tap the linked contact that you want to edit, then tap

Tap , then tap Unlink > Unlink.

Backing up contacts

You can use internal storage, a memory card or a SIM card to back up contacts. See
Transferring contacts on page 78 for more information about how to restore contacts
to your device.
To export all contacts to a memory card

From your Home screen, tap

Press , then tap Import/export > Export to .vcf file.

To export contacts to a SIM card
When you export contacts to a SIM card, not all information may get exported. This is due to
memory limitations on SIM cards.
