Cleaning
Ceramic
Remove heavy dirt with a damp cloth and stubborn
surfaces
dirt with a glass scraper.
Clean with the Miele ceramic surface and stainless
steel cleaner (see the Miele online store) and with
kitchen paper or a clean cloth.
Do not apply cleaner to a hot cooktop as this can
cause discoloration.
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth.
Grates
Take out the grates.
Clean in the dishwasher or with a sponge cloth, a
mild solution of liquid dish soap and warm water.
If necessary, use the rough side of the sponge.
Burner control
Clean with a sponge cloth, some liquid dish soap
knob
and warm water.
Burner
Remove all loose parts of the burner.
Clean with a sponge cloth, a mild solution of liquid
dish soap and warm water.
Wipe the non-detachable parts of the burner with a
damp cloth.
Ignition safety
Wipe carefully with a well damp cloth.

Cleaning and care
Instructions
Do not use liquid dish soap
as not all soiling and
residue will be removed.
This results in an invisible
film which causes
discoloration of the glass
ceramic. This discoloration
is permanent.
When using special
ceramic cleaning agents,
follow the instructions of the
manufacturer.
