Operating the Throttle

You can move the throttle control between F
S positions (Figure

Always use the F position when engaging the PTO.

Operating the Choke

Use the choke to start a cold engine.
1. Pull up the choke knob to engage the choke
before using the key switch
2. Push down the choke knob to disengage the
choke after the engine has started

Starting the Engine

A warm or hot engine may not require choking.
Important:
