Hi, when my easy press runs dry, it takes more than 10 hours to restart even though I can hear and see plenty of water in the tank, it just sits on dry or frequent start up. I follow your instructions but its very random

The PEDROLLO EASYPRESS takes more than 10 hours to restart when it runs dry because it performs automatic restart attempts at increasing time intervals. After detecting a dry run condition, it stops the pump and initiates retry attempts at intervals of 15, 30, 60 minutes, and then every hour. This gradual process can extend the restart time beyond 10 hours, even if water is available in the tank.

Hello. My easy press is now 15 years of service, but now is taking a long time to shut down the pump. The pressure is too high, and takes 10 seconds to shut down after all the taps are turned off. Does it need a change for a new easy press? Does the service /functioning deteriorate after 15 years good service.?

The PEDROLLO EASYPRESS pressure switch operates by turning the pump on and off based on system pressure and flow. The document mentions that different models have different operating pressures, and if the installed model is not suitable for the installation type, a model with a higher operating pressure (Pm) should be used. However, it does not explicitly mention that the pressure can be manually adjusted. Instead, selecting the appropriate model with the required pressure rating is recommended.

My easy press is giving an error message that it experiencing dry run and switching off although water supply if full and valves to the water supply are open

The PEDROLLO EASYPRESS may show a dry run error and turn off despite a full water supply and open valves due to one or more of the following reasons:

1. Blocked Pipes or Filters – If the water pipes or filters are partially blocked, the system may not detect sufficient flow, triggering the dry run protection.

2. Faulty or Blocked Check Valve – If the EASY PRESS® check valve is blocked or fails to open properly, water flow may be restricted, causing the system to stop the pump.

3. Leaks in the System – Small leaks in the hydraulic connections can reduce pressure below the required level, leading to the dry run error.

4. Incorrect Installation – If a non-return valve is installed between the pump and EASY PRESS®, or if air is trapped in the system, the device may not detect water properly.

Checking and cleaning the pipes, filters, and valves, as well as ensuring proper installation and sealing leaks, may resolve the issue.
