    Before installation • The elbow piping kit (TCB-KP13CE , KP23CE) (sold separately) is also needed to install the drain pump kit because the pipes must be directed upward. • Insulate all drain pipes. • Cut two holes in the ceiling (Ø100) where the installation is being done through which to pass the refrigerant pipe and the drain pipe.

    Installation CAUTION If you only hold the molded part of the side, the side may come off and the unit may fall down.     Drain pipe  Hanging the indoor unit Hang the indoor unit according to installation manual provided with the indoor unit. Follow the installation manual provided with the indoor unit and the elbow piping kit regarding application of insulation and connection of refrigerant pipes. CAUTION Following the Installation Manual, perform the drain piping work so that water is properly drained.

    Top panel heat insulating Install the top panel heat insulator provided with the indoor unit according to the positions of the refrigerant pipes and drain pipe. There are holes in the top panel heat insulator for the refrigerant pipes only. Cut a hole for the drain pipe's position as shown in the following figure.
