2. INTRODUCTION
Mobile oil drainer designed to extract oil via the dipstick tube. 12ltr capacity tank allows easy collection and safe disposal of waste oil. Supplied
with two flexible Ø6mm and Ø8mm probes, 2mtr inlet hose fitted with control tap and Ø2mm, Ø10mm and Ø16mm adaptors. Suitable for
Mercedes.

4. OPERATION
4.1.
Unpack the product and check contents, should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your supplier immediately. Store the
sump extraction probes in storage pipe on the back of the trolley
4.2.
Ensure you have read, understood and apply the safety instructions.
4.3.
To achieve oil extraction the sump oil temperature must be 50
4.4.
Check that the waste oil canister cap is correctly screwed on, and the hose tap is turned off.
4.5.
Choose the appropriate extraction probe (diameter, flexible or rigid) for the type of vehicle, and push it onto the hose end.
NOTE: To provide a faster extraction, the wider diameter probe is preferred where access allows.
4.6.
Check length of the dip stick against the length of the probe (fig 1) to establish an approximate depth, and mark the probe at this point.
4.7.
Insert the probe through the dip stick entry hole (fig 2) and gently push the probe down to the bottom of the sump.
4.8.
Switch the pump on and open the hose tap. The pressure gauge (fig 3) should register 40cm hg or above as extraction commences.
4.9.
When sump is empty the pressure gauge will indicate zero. Move probe around the bottom of the sump to extract any remaining oil.
4.10.
Switch the pump off, turn off the hose tap and remove the extraction probe from the sump.
4.11.
When extraction is complete unplug from the mains power supply.
4.12.
Dispose of waste oil in accordance with local authority regulations.
5. FAULT FINDING
5.1.
Should the pressure gauge not reach the required 40cm hg check the following:
a) Ensure the probe has been pushed deep enough to access the oil.
b) Air leak. Ensure all joints and seals on the pump unit and hose are tight.
c) The oil is below the 50°C temperature
c) The extraction may be complete.
5.2.
Motor not working:
a) Check electrical supply and connections.
b) Check there are no foreign objects blocking or passing through the motor's front grill.
6. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Ensure the drainer is disconnected from the mains electrical supply before attempting any maintenance.
6.1.
Keep the unit clean, wipe off any oil spillage.
6.2.
Keep the probes clean and check that the tubes are clear.
6.3.
Check that all tubes, hoses, and connections are in good condition.
6.4.
Regularly check all electrical connections.
6.5.
To maintain the motor use an authorised service agent.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
