Spinach “Bread” PRO/FATS AND VEGGIES – LEVEL ONE This Somersize classic recipe first appeared in my book Fast & Easy. It’s a great alternative to bread for sandwiches! This recipe is not made in the Somersize Slow Cooker, it’s an oven recipe.

In a large skillet over medium high heat, heat oil and sauté onion, celery and garlic until onions begin to brown. Remove from heat and set aside. In your Somersize Slow Cooker crock, whisk together wine, water and tomato paste until no lumps of tomato paste are left. Add celery root, tomatoes, salt, parsley, and clams (including liquid in can).
