- Page 4 Basic Operation 1. Multi-function Volume Knob The Multifunction Knob allows you to control the volume, turn on/off the player, and lock/unlock the main display screen. - Page 6 This player is equipped with one singled ended and one balanced line output (shared with headphone output), you can connect the line out of N8 to an outboard amplifier. You need an appropriate analogue audio interconnect with reference to the input of your amplifier.
