2.2.2 Connecting a Telephone Line You can connect up to two telephone lines to the UBC1329AA00 to use the telephone (voice) features. Voice service must be enabled by your cable service provider. Voice service requires additional steps for the service provider including canceling the previous telephone provider service, porting the telephone number, and other tasks to minimize downtime during the transition.
All available wireless networks will appear in the drop-down menu. The UBC1329AA00 is shipped with a default SSID. The SSID is the name of the wireless network broadcast from the device so that wireless clients can connect to it.

Using the Web User Interface The Web user interface (UI) for the UBC1329AA00 is easy to access and allows you to view and configure settings for your wireless gateway device. You can validate the installation by accessing the Web user interface on the device.
