Using Cooking Modes MANUAL (Manual) mode functions like a standard, non-programmable slow cooker with four heat settings: WARM, LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH. The timer counts up and the appliance will stay on until the START/STOP button is pressed, or will turn off automatically after 24 hours.
  • Page 12 USING COOKING MODES MEAL TIMER (Meal Timer) mode allows you to select the number of hours of cooking based on when the meal will be served, regardless of recipe instructions. No heat level is selected. MEAL TIMER adjusts the temperature based on the serving time. This feature is well-suited to recipes that will cook for a long period of time such as large joints of meat, meat and vegetable combinations, or soups and stews.
  • Page 13 Programme Modes There are three slow-cooking options in (Programme) mode: 1) Programme one heat and time cycle in one cooking session. 2) Programme two heat and time cycles in one cooking session. 3) Use the Probe to set the desired end temperature. 1 PROGRAMME Select one heat and time setting for the entire cooking session.

For many foods, such as large cuts of meat, food temperature is the best test of whether something is cooked. The temperature probe takes the guesswork out of cooking. Select the desired internal food temperature, and the appliance will automatically switch to WARM when the desired temperature is reached.
  • Page 17 Tips SLOW COOKING • Choose from MANUAL, MEAL TIMER or PROGRAMME modes. • Page 20 USING COOKING MODES Steaming Chart Steamer cooking times (approximate) are based on steaming with 500 ml cold water in the vessel. The time set on the display with an up arrow icon indicates that the steamer is preheating. Once preheated, the arrow will disappear and the time counts down. The steamer will switch to WARM after the cooking time elapses.
  • Page 21 SOUS VIDE (Sous Vide) is a cooking method in which sealed food is cooked in a precisely temperature-controlled water bath, between 38°C and 93°C. The temperature probe is used to control the temperature of the water. This method ensures even and predictable results and protects against overcooking.
  • Page 22 USING COOKING MODES Turn the knob to the right to increase or to the left to decrease the temperature. It will adjust in 1°C increments, and the temperature range is 38°–93°C. Release the knob once the probe temperature is set, and the display and the START/STOP button will start to flash.
