1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.1. GENERAL
Ensure the work light is correctly charged before initial use.

DO NOT turn the work light on when it is being re-charged.

DO NOT shine directly into your, other person's or animal's eyes.

DO NOT allow children to use the worklight unsupervised.

DO NOT submerge the work light or use outside in wet and damp conditions. The unit is not waterproof.

DO NOT leave battery in a discharged state, recharge battery immediately. If the light is not in use, recharge

the battery every month.

Bright LED lantern with revolutionary self-powered technology via hand crank. Three light settings with up to 60
minutes' illumination from only 1 minute's wind-up. Take the lantern anywhere with no need to replace batteries or
bulbs. Supplied with built-in compass and hanging handle.

3. 3. CHARGING AND OPERATION
3.1. CHARGING THE WORK LIGHT
IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION:

The battery fitted to this lantern is considered to
be a consumable item and its ability to accept charge
will reduce over time. We will warranty it against
mechanical and electrical defect for a period of one
year - this does not cover fair wear and tear.
If the battery is not properly charged before first use,
or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish.
Under these circumstances we will not replace the
battery even if it is less than one year old.
3.1.1 Winding Handle. Before charging, switch the unit
OFF. To get approximately 60 minutes of usage from
the 1 LED setting you need to wind the handle at a
steady pace in either direction for 60 seconds. If
more LEDs are used the usage time will be reduced
as shown above under specification. After winding
fold the handle back down into its stowage position.
3.1.2 Mobile Phone Charging. The lantern is supplied
with a Nokia phone charging lead. When this is
connected between a suitable phone and the socket
on the lantern seen in Fig.1, the cranking charge is
diverted from the light to the phone in order to revive
a depleted battery sufficiently to make a phone call.
To charge the phone you must operate the winding
handle for a minimum of 1 minute. Longer will be
required if the battery is very flat.
