Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. To clean, use a damp cloth. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble this product.

2. Installation A) Unpacking the unit After unpacking the unit, store the box and the packing material for future shipping. Failing to ship the unit in its original unit box and styrofoam will void the unit’s warranty. B) Installation Select an appropriate workspace and make sure it is clean, flat, and leveled. The unit should never be placed near or over a radiator, heater register, or close to a strong source of light.
3. Getting Started 3.1 Bill Selection / Placement A. Avoid counting wet, excessively dirty, folded, or damaged bills. B. Check for foreign objects mixed up with the bills such as paper clips, rubber bands, pieces of paper, etc. C. If counting new bills, fan them lightly since they often stick together. D.
4. Equipment Overview 4.1 Control Panel Description UV: Ultraviolet Verification On/Off • This function allows the unit to analyze the ultraviolet characteristics of each bill during the counting. The unit will stop counting in case a bill is considered suspicious. The UV sensitivity can be adjusted by the user from 1-9.

Equipment Overview (continued) 4.2 Sensitivity Adjustment of the Counterfeit detection functions, (MG-UV-DD-LEVEL) The user has the option to adjust (increase or decrease) the sensitivity of the counterfeit detection functions based on their specific needs and the bills’ condition. To modify these setting values, press and hold the specific function for 3 seconds until the display shows the current value for the selected function.
5. Operation 5.1 Counting Operation Turn the unit ON. The unit will proceed with a Self-Test routine to confirm the proper operation before starting the count. If any error is reported, check the ERROR MESSAGES section to solve the problem. Select the desired verification functions to use (MG-UV-DD) based on the security features encountered on your currency.
5. Operation (continued) 5.2 Miscounting errors If the unit is not counting accurately: Ensure that the banknotes are placed orderly in the hopper. Clean the dust or any other kind of dirt from the counting sensors. Evaluate the bill thickness. Adjust the mechanism as needed to improve the unit’s performance.
5. Operation (continued) 5.4 Thickness Knob Adjustment Proceed with this calibration when the bills are not fed smoothly through the machine or miscounting errors are occurring frequently. The Thickness Adjustment Knob is set at 0 (at the center). This is the standard setting from the factory.
6. Warning and Error Messages The unit might report any error message to notify the operator about an incident or anomaly during the counting.
