Installation and Connection to the Mains
INSTALLATION (Fig. A)
The appliance may be installed only by
a certifi ed installation technician.
The dimensions and assembling instructions are presented
in the fi gures above.
1 Cut out an opening in the worktop according to the
dimensions shown in the fi gures.
2 Place the hob in the opening and fi x to worktop using
brackets and screws.
●
Never install the hob above ovens without ventilation
function or near devices which generate heat.
●
Make sure that the worktop has a thickness of at least
30 mm.
●
Make sure the worktop is made of suitable heat resistant
material to avoid deformation due to heat produced by
the hob.
●
After installation, make sure that the hob is well ventilated
and that the air inlet and outlet are not obstructed.
For safety reasons, the distance between the
hob and a cabinet mounted above it should be
at least 760 mm.
CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE TO THE MAINS
SUPPLY
The device may be connected to the mains only
by a certifi ed technician.
Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply
read the information on the rating label and the appliance
connection diagram.

The mains supply must be equipped with a suitable
fuse.
●
Additionally, the mains supply must be equipped with
an appropriate circuit breaker for disconnecting the
appliance in emergency situations.
●
The power cord must not be bent or squashed.
Please remember, there is an obligation to
connect a protection circuit to the clamp of
the connection terminal strip marked with the
sign. The wiring system powering the plate
should be protected by an appropriately chosen
safeguard, and additionally to protect the power
line it may have a proper switch cutting off the
power supply in case of emergency.
The installer is obliged to fi ll in the warranty
card which is a basis for warranty claims.

Technical Parameters
The technical parameters are indicated on the rating label.
The ceramic hob is a class 1 appliance equipped with
a power cord with grounding plug.
The appliance satisfi ed the requirements of relevant
standards.
The appliance complies with the following directives:

Low Voltage Directive (LVD) – 2006/95/EC.
–
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) – 2004/108/EC.
The product is marked with CE symbol on the rating label.
