When replacement of this board is needed, replace the front block.
1-3. Circuit Description 1-3-1. OHB Block CR-1006 board The CR-1006 board contains a driver IC6502 to control the variable ND filter. Control signals of the variable ND filter are connected from IC1000 on the VC-1046 board. Signals from IC6502 are connected to the ND unit to insert or remove the variable liquid crystal ND of the ND unit and to change the density of the variable liquid crystal ND.
Page 12
FT-2001 board The FT-2001 board contains an LED for FRONT TALLY. IF-1014 board The IF-1014 board is a unit-side connector board for relay between the unit and the handle. This board relays the switch signals of the handle and power and communication lines of the internal microphone in the handle, audio input connectors (INPUT1 and INPUT2), and MI SHOE.
Page 13
Analog signals from the audio input connectors are converted to digital signals, and the converted digital signals are input to IC8000 and are then output to IC9100. Furthermore, IC8000 receives switch input signals from the audio input connector and changes the control of the audio signal A/D conversion block.
1-3-3. Rear Block HD-1006 board The HD-1006 board contains an HDMI connector. IC1503 works as an HDMI Retimer IC. SDI-1004 board The SDI-1004 board contains a BNC connector that can output 12G-SDI signals. IC6004 is a 12G-SDI driver IC. TC-1002 board The TC-1002 board contains a TC IN/TC OUT (timecode input/output) connector.

TG-1005 board The TG-1005 board contains an ISO/GAIN switch (for switching gain) and a WHT BAL switch (for switching white balance memory).
1-3-5. Outside Block DC-1023 board The DC-1023 board contains a DC IN jack. JK-1029 board The JK-1029 board contains a 3.5ϕ jack connector only for grip connection. Connection to the grip starts power supply from the VC-1046 board and UART signal communication. LC-1052 board The LC-1052 board contains a USB/multi connector, a REMOTE connector, a TC IN/OUT switch, and an NFC Plug IC.
HC-1002 board The HC-1002 board is a handle-side connector board for relay between the unit and the handle. This board relays the switch signals of the handle and power and communication lines of the internal microphone in the handle, audio input connectors (INPUT1 and INPUT2), and MI SHOE. HK-1003 board The HK-1003 board contains a handle recording START/STOP button, ASSIGN7, ASSIGN8, and a handle HOLD switch.
1-3-8. Grip Block FP-311 board The FP-311 board contains ASSIGN4, ASSIGN5, recording START/STOP button, eight direction keys, and a photo reflector to activate the multi-assignable dial. UC-1001 board The UC-1001 board contains an ASSIGN6 button. UIF-1001 board The UIF-1001 board is a grip board to control the grip using IC2002. When this board is connected to the camera body, the LED (D2002) lights green.
