1. GENERAL INFORMATION
T w o ty p es of p ersons may access the machine for different p urp oses.
A p erson w ho has adeq uate technical training to p rep are the p roducts the ma-
chine uses to disp ense granita, in observ ance of current standards of hy giene.
After reading this manual, he w ill be cap able of:
• carry ing out normal p roduct loading and/or rep lacement op erations;
• p rop erly disp ensing the p roduct;
• cleaning and sanitizing the machine.
A p erson w ho has ex amined this manual and has sp ecifi c training in the installa-
tion, use and serv icing of the granita machine:
• he must be able to carry out rep airs in the ev ent of serious faults and be w ell
acq uainted w ith this manual and all the information regarding safety ;
• he must be able to understand the contents of the manual and correctly
interp ret draw ings and diagrams;
• he must be familiar w ith the most imp ortant sanitary , accident p rev ention,
technological and safety standards;
• he must hav e sp ecifi c ex p erience in serv icing granita machines;
• he must k now how to behav e in case of emergency , w here to fi nd indiv idual
safety eq uip ment and how to use it p rop erly .
T he P urchaser must v ery carefully read the information contained in this man-
ual.
T he p urp ose of this manual is to p rov ide the P urchaser w ith all the necessary
information regarding the installation, maintenance and use of the granita ma-
chine.
S hould y ou hav e any doubts as to the correct interp retation of these instruc-
tions, contact the manufacturer to req uest the necessary ex p lanations.

therefore be handed ov er to any subseq uent ow ners.

V ery close attention should be p aid to the p ortions of tex t mark ed
w ith this sy mbol.
T his sy mbol is used to indicate op erations that must absolutely be
av oided since they create hazards for the U ser and any other indi-
v iduals p resent in the v icinity .
T he p resence of this sy mbol w arns against attemp ting to ex tinguish
fi res w ith w ater or any substance containing w ater.
W hen this sy mbol ap p ears alongside a descrip tion it means that
p ersonal safety eq uip ment must be used, as there is an imp licit risk
of accidents.
It identifi es op erations that may be p erformed only by q ualifi ed tech-
nical p ersonnel.
It identifi es the danger due to mov ing p arts ex isting in the machine.
T urn off the machine before carry ing out any op eration.
