Private DNS
Private DNS is a way to secure queries and responses between your phone and a website
when your phone tries to get information from the website. You can configure your phone to
connect to a private host.
1.
From the Apps launcher, tap Settings > Network & internet > Private DNS.
2.
Tap one of available Private DNS modes.
NOTE: If you selected Private DNS provider hostname, enter the hostname you want
to use.
3.
Tap SAVE.
Wireless emergency alerts
You can customize notifications or change the alert settings for Wireless emergency alerts.
To display the Emergency Alerts:
► From the Apps launcher, tap Settings > Network & internet > Wireless emergency
alerts.
To configure the Wireless emergency alerts settings:
1.
From the Apps launcher, tap Settings > Network & internet > Wireless emergency
alerts >
> Settings.
2.
Configure the settings for the types of alerts you want to receive, such as Extreme
Alert, and for Cellbroadcast and Notification.
NOTE: Presidential is always grayed out (not selectable) and cannot be excluded.
