Mouse input not Make sure the mouse is properly
functioning. connected to the PC.

Reproduction

Fault Remedy
No sound If the monitor has integrated
reproduction. loudspeakers, make sure the monitor
audio input is connected to the audio
output of the PC.
Make sure the sound function has
been activated in the system settings.
No reproduction of Make sure the CD/DVD is clean,
data from CD/DVD. exhibits no major damage (scratches
etc.) and is inserted the right way
round in the drive.

Use

Take the action described below in the given
sequence if the application or PC no longer reacts.
Contact Customer Service if this action does not
help.
Windows task manager
1. Press <Ctrl> + <Shift> + <Esc>.
 "Windows Task Manager" is displayed.
2. Select the application which is not reacting.
3. Select <End Task>.
 The selected application is terminated.
Forced switch-off
1. Press the power key on the front of the PC for
more than three seconds.
 The operating system shuts down.
2. Press the power key on the front of the PC.
 The operating system starts up.

Cleaning

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents and coarse
workshop cloths.

The housing is only to be cleaned with a soft cloth
and neutral cleaning agents.

Preventive maintenance

The PC does not require any special maintenance
work. Keep the PC clean.

Spare and wearing parts

Do not open the computer on your own. Inform
customer service in the event of persistent
problems. Spare parts are available for
replacement by customer service.

6.4 Restoring the operating system
(recovery)
For Windows 10, Microsoft has begun offering the
operating system as "software as a service." This means
that the operating system will no longer be replaced
by a successor but instead continuously modified and
expanded. For some licensing models like the internet-of-
things (IoT) version of Windows 10, major modifications
to the range of functions are no longer covered by the
existing license.

Always use the latest recovery version (image) for
the installed Windows version (e.g. Windows 10
Enterprise 2019 LTSC).
