Changing the Current Equation Type Setting

How to calculate %RSD and linearity
To calculate %RSD (Relative Standard Deviation) and linearity using the Casio fx-82ES PLUS:
1. %RSD Calculation:
- Enter statistical mode: Press `(MODE)`, then select `2: STAT`.
- Choose `1-VAR` (one-variable statistics).
- Input your data values: Enter each value followed by `(=)`.
- Calculate the mean `(x̄)`: Press `(STAT) → (Var) → (x̄)`.
- Calculate population standard deviation `(σ)`: Press `(STAT) → (Var) → (σ)`.
- Compute %RSD manually: %RSD = (σ / x̄) × 100.
2. Linearity Calculation:
- Enter statistical mode: Press `(MODE)`, then select `2: STAT`.
- Choose `A+BX` (linear regression).
- Enter paired `(x, y)` data: Input `x` values followed by `(=)`, then `y` values followed by `(=)`.
- Compute the correlation coefficient `(r)`: Press `(STAT) → (Reg) → (r)`.
- A correlation coefficient close to 1 or -1 indicates strong linearity.
The calculator does not directly compute %RSD, so you must perform the division and multiplication manually.
