4. OpERATION
4.1.
Fully charge the battery before first use. Plug the charger cable into an electrical outlet and connect into the charging port (see fig.1).
The charge indicator lights are on the top of the unit (see fig.2). The green LED will light when it is fully charged, charging is denoted by
a yellow LEd and low battery is the red LEd. unplug the cable once charged, and the unit is ready for use.
4.2.
choose a suitable heating repair pin and place it in the tip of the stapler.
4.3.
Set the power switch (see fig.2) according to the type of plastic (low for thin plastic, bumpers etc. high for thick or hard
plastic.)
4.4.
Keep the stapler perpendicular to the damaged surface.
4.5.
Press the switch button on the grip for 10 seconds until the pin is hot enough to weld. then press the pin gently against the damaged
surface.
4.6.
When the pin is half way into the plastic material stop pressing and release the power button. Wait for a few seconds until the repair
becomes firm.
4.7.
once plastic has cooled and staple is fully secure, pull stapler gun gently back to release.
4.8.
If the damaged surface is very long or wide, insert extra pins, 1/2 inch apart.
4.9.
cut off the pins with a side cutter, then grind the remains of the pin with a sander/grinder.
NOTE: DO NOT press the repair pins too hard as it may penetrate the plastic too far.
NOTE: Rest the stapler for 5 to 10 minutes after 40 cycles of continuous use in order to extend the life of the product.
